THE HISTORY OF ARM WRESTLING

Arm wrestling's history stretches back millennia, with evidence of the practice found in ancient Egyptian art and literature, as well as in Native American traditions. The modern sport gained traction in the mid-20th century with the founding of the World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) and the American Armsport Association (AAA).
